K-Stone: Bryant Records' Detroit Hardcore Rapper (Early 1990s)
K-Stone (sometimes credited as K-Stoney Jamm) was a Detroit rapper active in the late 1980s and early 1990s, who became a notable artist on Bryant Records, the independent label owned by Joel H. Bryant Jr.

He was friends and collaborators with a young Detroit producer known as Mr. House (who later became the acclaimed house music artist Moodymann). The two reportedly spent years in a basement making music together, and Mr. House produced some of K-Stone's earliest tracks, using "funky old records" and breakbeats.
The "313" Saying: K-Stone is credited with coining the "313" saying around Detroit, referencing the city's area code.
Later Career: K-Stone continued his rap career, changing his rap name to Dogmatic in 1998 and later forming the group Promatic with the rapper Proof.
